The Challenge
The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) is the leading organization for school principals, assistant principals, and school leaders from across the United States and in over 35 countries around the world. In addition to managing the sales for its media properties and events, YGS was tasked with supporting NASSP in combining its resources with the The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), a professional organization serving elementary and middle school principals, to develop the National Principals Conference, bringing education professionals together in one joint conference. The YGS Group was tasked with creating and executing an exhibit and sponsorship program from the ground up.

The Results
In the early stages of prospectus development, The YGS Group compared the current offerings of both associations respective to their annual meetings. Upon finding an agreeable structure for exhibit booth pricing, the sponsorship program was then developed based on past sales history for both organizations, taking into consideration long-standing endemic event sponsors to ensure that revenue opportunities were not overlooked in the transition. The YGS event team manages the floorplan, aiding exhibitors in selecting booth space and ensuring competitive separation. In addition, YGS provides complete back-end exhibitor and sponsor support, booth personnel registration and exhibitor e-newsletter development. Sales are currently pacing well ahead of pre-set exhibit and sponsorship budgets by 136% and are on track to exceed the total event budget prior to the July 2017 event anticipated to attract more than 3,000 attendees, and filling 40,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space with more than 300 exhibitors.
